Prevention is better than cure

Mohammad Yahya's avatarBlogs Notes

Every year during the winter season a number of families in Pakistan suffocate to death due to keeping the gas heaters on for the whole night during sleep and it is so mainly because the majority of our population is unaware of the precautionary measures needed to avoid losses while using gas heaters.
Gas heaters release emissions such as carbon monoxide directly into the room, increase the level of indoor pollutants, which can potentially harm your health including a high incidence of respiratory symptoms.
Gas heaters also consume oxygen while burning, causing lower amounts of oxygen in the room if not properly ventilated. Poisoning can also result due to leakage of gas heaters accidentally in close rooms.
Some people are more susceptible than others to suffer health effects such as heart disease patients, asthmatics, pregnant ladies, children and elderly, explained Head of Community Medicine at CMH Lahore Medical College Professor…

The Shapes Of Secularism

Benefits of Alkaline Water

Improve your health, supercharge your immune system, and fight the aging process with antioxidant-rich alkaline water.

Toxins are the number one cause of aging. They are often a result of poor diet, pollution, and stress. Toxins can build up in your body causing cell damage that leads to premature aging. The best way to fight toxins and detoxify your body is with antioxidants. And it’s as easy as drinking antioxidant-rich alkaline water.

  1. DETOXIFY
Detoxify your body to remove normal acidic waste products accumulated daily, plus remove toxins accumulated in your body from your environment, prescription drugs, unnatural foods and from the “normal” process of aging. Acid wastes collected in the body can lead to more serious health conditions. Drinking alkaline water daily can neutralize the acidity and wash acid waste products from cells and tissues.
  2. HYDRATE
Hydrate your body: this is basic to maintain or regain optimum health. During ionization your alkaline water filter forms your water into micro clusters that are more easily absorbed at the cellular levels thus “super hydrating” your body.
  3. OXYGENATE / ANTIOXIDANTS
Alkaline water acts as an antioxidant, scavenging for and neutralizing harmful free radicals. Because alkaline water has the ability to give up electrons, it can effectively neutralize and block free-radical damage to the body. Ionized alkaline water seeks out free radicals and converts them into oxygen which your body can use for energy production and tissue oxygenation. Cancer and most other illnesses cannot survive in an oxygenated, alkaline environment.
  4. ALKALIZE YOUR BODY’S pH
Alkaline water helps balance the body’s pH, which tends to be acidic because of our high acid food diet, stress and exposure to environmental toxins such as smog. Alkalize your body pH from acidic to alkaline pH, because cancer and many other illnesses cannot live in alkaline environments. Alkaline is the “normal” state of healthy persons.
  5. ENHANCE YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM
Enhance your immune system to maximize your body’s ability to fight off disease and heal itself.

Nuwruz,The Celebration Of Springtime

This ancient festival is a celebration of springtime—and a brand new year

PHOTOGRAPH BY HOSSEIN FATEMI, PANOS PICTURES/REDUX
Iranian-Americans dance to bring in the new year at the 2016 Nowruz Festival in downtown Chicago.

Nowruz, also known as Persian New Year, has been observed for more than 3,000 years as the victory of spring over darkness.

FOR THE NORTHERN Hemisphere, March 19 is the first day of spring. But for 300 million people around the world, it’s the beginning of a new year, too. Nowruz—which means “new day”—is a holiday marking the arrival of spring and the first day of the year in Iran, whose solar calendar begins with the vernal equinox.

Nowruz has been celebrated in Iran and the Persian diaspora for more than 3,000 years. Its roots are as a feast day in Zoroastrianism, a religion practiced in ancient Persia that viewed the arrival of spring as a victory over darkness. The holiday survived the Islamic conquest of Persia in the seventh century and the decline of Zoroastrianism’s popularity, and it spread across the globe through the diaspora of Persian people throughout history. (Here’s how Persia became the world’s first true empire.)

Traditionally celebrated on the vernal equinox, many begin preparations for Nowruz weeks in advance. In the leadup to the holiday, people perform ritual dances and fill vessels in their home with water, which is associated with health, in an attempt to banish bad luck.

At Nowruz celebrations—like this one in Los Angeles, California—people jump over small fires to bring good luck in the new year.

On the last Wednesday before Nowruz, many celebrate Charshanbe Suri, a night in which they jump over fire or go to doors banging spoons to scare away bad luck. People also visit cemeteries and bring offerings for the dead, whom some believe visit before the spring rite begins.

The spring festival’s focus is fertility and new life, so it’s appropriate that many revelers celebrate with seeds and eggs. Households set up tables covered with seven symbolic items they call haft-seen. Haft means “seven” and “seen” is “s” in Farsi, and all of the items start with the letter. These include seed sprouts (usually wheat, oats and other seeds, which symbolize rebirth), senjed (also known as silverberry or Persian olive, which is thought to spark love), garlic (protection), apple (fertility), sumac (love), vinegar (patience), and samanu, a pudding made of sprouted wheat (affluence). The table also can include a Koran, eggs, mirrors, and poetry.

Though Nowruz is old, the table tradition isn’t: As A. Shapur Shahbazi notes in Encyclopedia Iranica, it only came into effect in the last century.

This device will catch Dubai drivers who don’t stop for pedestrians

Dubai: Dubai Police has unveiled its first smart device to catch reckless drivers who fail to give way to pedestrians at road crossings, an official said.

Brigadier Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Director of Traffic Department at Dubai Police, said that the move aims to control vehicles that do not give priority to pedestrians.

“The device uses solar panels and has sensors to identify a pedestrian’s movement on the side of the road to catch the violated vehicles,” said Brig Al Mazroui.

He pointed out that the device will have a red signal to warn drivers to stop and give priority to pedestrians but drivers who do not stop will be recorded and send clips to the violations system via 4G technology.

According to UAE traffic law, drivers who don’t give priority to people in the places designated for pedestrian crossings will be fined Dh500 plus six traffic points.

“The device will raise the level of traffic safety in the emirate and reduce vehicles’ speed and run-over incidents near pedestrian crossing areas,” Brig Al Mazroui added.

He called upon drivers to give priority to pedestrian areas and reduce speed near those areas, especially near densely populated industrial places and markets.

Harrison Ford–Estimated $18 million Of Cessna 680 Sovereign

No one can ever forget Hans Solo from Star Wars or the whip-wielding archeologist from the iconic Indiana Jones film franchise. Ford has absolutely immortalized these two characters in his career and has etched his name in our hearts forever. The legendary actor has been one of the highest-grossing Hollywood superstars at the box office, and we have literally seen his bank account getting bigger and fatter with time. Ford loves to fly and has eight airplanes in his hangar, among which you can find his favorite — the Cessna 680 Sovereign. The 12-seater beauty took him around $18 million. With $230 million in his kitty, such lavishness is pretty normal. Harrison has already taken flying classes before and wouldn’t mind spreading his wings whenever he desires.

AS RECEIVED: The new coronavirus may not show sign of infection for many days, how can one know if he/she is infected. By the time they have fever and/or cough and goes to the hospital, the lungs is usually 50 % Fibrosis and it’s too late!

Taiwan experts provide a simple self-check that we can do every morning:

Take a deep breath and hold your breath for more than 10 seconds. If you complete it successfully without coughing, without discomfort, stuffiness or tightness etc it proves there is no fibrosis in the lungs, basically indicating no infection.

In critical times, please self-check every morning in an environment with clean air!

SERIOUS EXCELLENT ADVICE by Japanese doctors treating COVID-19 cases. Everyone should ensure your mouth & throat is moist, never DRY. Take a few sips of water every 15 mins at least. WHY? Even if the virus gets into your mouth…drinking water or other liquids will WASH them down through your oesophagus and into the stomach. Once there in tummy…your stomach ACID will kill all the virus. If you don’t drink enough water more regularly…the virus can enter your windpipes and into the LUNGS. That’s very dangerous.
Pls send and share with family, friends and everyone about this ! Take care everyone n may the world recovers from corona virus soon. May all be well and happy 🙏
